  • 1763 में मुर्शिदाबाद पर कब्जा करने के बाद ब्रिटिश सेना का पश्चिम बंगाल के गिरिया में मीर कासिम से युद्ध हुआ।
  • 1790 में अमेरिका में पहली बार जनगणना हुई।
  • 1858 में ब्रिटिश सरकार ने गवर्मेंट ऑफ इंडिया एक्ट पारित किया।
  • 1980 में इटली में बम धमाका, 85 लोगों की मौत हो गई।
  • 1984 में यूरो अदालत ने फ़ोन टैपिंग की आलोचना की।1990 में इराक ने कुवैत पर हमला किया।
  • 1999 में चीन ने लम्बी दूरी (8000 किमी।) की सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली मिसाइल का परीक्षण किया
  • 2007 में जाफना के दक्षिणी द्वीप कियुशु में सुबह आये भयानक तूफ़ान उगासी ने व्यापक पैमाने पर क्षति पहुँचायी।
