  • सन 1923 में आज ही के दिन वर्ष का पांचवा उष्णकटिबंधीय तूफ़ान लीवर्ड द्वीप के उत्तर में आया।
  • सन 1931: भारत के 11वें राष्ट्रपति ए. पी. जे. अब्दुल कलाम का जन्म हुआ।
  • सन 1932: टाटा कंपनी के हवाई जहाज ने अपनी पहली उड़ान भरी थी। भारत सरकार द्वारा अधिग्रहण के बाद यही कंपनी एयर इंडिया कहलाई।
